How to print and export from Petrel

How to print seismic, log, and map files from Petrel?

Navigate to the "File" menu and select "Print". Select from your available Windows printers.

Note: Petrel printing uses SDI APS printing. To extend network printing options using Microsoft Universal Print please reach out to us.

How to export PDF, EMF, CGM, and PPT from Petrel?

Go to the "File" menu and select "Print". From dialog window select "Export". Options include PDF, EMF, and CGM.

Note: To obtain high quality PPT files please export to EMF. Then use Microsoft PPT to open up the EMF file. Save as PPT.

APS is included in Petrel

When you select "Print" you will see "APS Print". If you see select "Print" and instead see "Windows Print" please contact your Petrel support to have APS configured.
