Geospatial PDF
What is it?
It is a digital map embedded in PDF format, and viewable by Adobe Acrobat/Reader.
- Relates a region in the document to a region in physical space (GPS coordinates)
- Practical uses:
- Find and mark GPS coordinates
- Measure distance, perimiter, and area
- Copy GPS coordinates to the clipboard into mapping applications (e.g. Google Maps)
